The ocean setting and design of the resort was beautiful. The service and staff was excellent. Enjoyed the number of pools and bars, and the variety of food and dining options when available was also very good. We loved the nightly entertainment - the shows were excellent and varied. Also really enjoyed the island beach that was accessible by quick and frequent boat rides.
The resort is really geared towards family with kids and being a couple without kids it wouldn't be our first choice to go back to Mompiche for this reason. We also found it inconvenient that it was difficult to obtain food at certain times of the day - between 2-5pm there is only one location that serves fast food and between 5-7pm there are no locations serving food.

We had a fantastic time at this luxurious hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were not only clean and beautiful, but also felt very safe. We loved the variety of amenities available, including three swimming pools that were safe for our kids and had lifeguards on watch. The bar at the lobby and next to the pools made it so convenient to order refreshing drinks while lounging by the pool. The snack bar by the pool and the Beach Club added to the overall convenience. We were disappointed that only the International restaurant was available during our visit, but the food there was amazing. We can't wait to come back and try out the other themed restaurants when they are open. The location of this place is great, with clean beaches and a sense of privacy that we truly enjoyed.
This hotel is highly recommended for families.

Beautiful location; one of the most scenic spots on the SA Pacific coast. Very nice spa and staff.
Not very well managed; had to pay for safe in room, had to pay for Wifi. Food in 3 restaurants we ate at was mediocre at best. Not expat friendly - nothing but Espanol spoken or understood. Not easy to get - road built by Decameron in poor condition. Use of chemicals and insecticides was excessive and not eco-friendly.

I like the value for money. Most all inclusive resorts are much more expensive. It is in a nice, secluded spot with no other resorts/hotels nearby. Very quiet and private.
The food was not good. There was not a ton of variety and the quality was not very good. The service was also very slow. At every lunch/dinner, there is a beverage service, but unless you tracked them down, they would not offer you any beverages. There were a lot of damaged structures throughout the resort with yellow tape all over it. Some of the rooms have great views but others are awful. They cleaned some of the seating with bleach water and the bleach left stains on my clothing - ruined them.

The location of this resort is stunning with beautiful views of both the ocean and pool. The staff were very helpful in fixing any problem we had, such as a dripping AC. The spa was definitely a highlight, situated on a lovely island accessible by a bridge. Apart from the food, the resort's amenities were good.
The food was a huge let-down with very poor quality. The selection of food options was limited, with the exception of the seafood restaurant.

This resort is located in an incredibly scenic area amidst lush trees and near a secluded beach. the food choices were varied and very tasty. I particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood and the local fruits that were offered. the staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating.
There were a few areas that could use some improvement, such as the limited access to the beach and the absence of lifeguards in the pool area. There were also some issues with the room amenities, such as the weak water pressure in the shower and the lack of a minibar.
